Rossicontemporary has the great pleasure to host all through the summer of 2010, the first solo exhibition of the young Belgian painter Thomas Mazzarella.
Having already come to the attention of art lovers both here and abroad, as well as in the art-press and diffused on the Net by numerous enthusiastic bloggers, the painting of Thomas Mazzarella surprises and seduces by its freshness and vigor. Like so many tales penned in a popular vein, where a pitiless gaze combines with a vivid imagination, the small tableaux of Thomas Mazzarella compose their brief narratives with aptness and delight.
At Rossicontemporary, the artist will present his new series of paintings on wood.

C’est avec très grand plaisir que Rossicontemporary accueillera tout au long de l’été 2010 la première exposition personnelle du jeune peintre belge Thomas Mazzarella.
Déjà remarquée en Belgique et à l’étranger par les amateurs de peinture et par la presse spécialisée, et aussi librement diffusée sur le net par de nombreux bloggeurs enthousiastes, la peinture de Thomas Mazzarella étonne et séduit par sa santé et sa fraicheur. Comme autant de récits menés sur un registre populaire où un regard sans merci s’associe à une vive imagination, les tableautins de Thomas Mazzarella composent des histoires brèves, avec justesse et bonheur.
Chez Rossicontemporary Thomas Mazzarella exposera une toute nouvelle série de peintures sur bois.

Met groot genoegen zal Rossicontemporary de ganse zomer van 2010 de eerste solo tentoonstelling van de jonge Belgische schilder Thomas Mazzarella tonen.
Het werk van Thomas Mazzarella, dat verrast en verleidt door zijn frisheid en vitaliteit is reeds onder de aandacht gekomen van zowel kunstliefhebbers van hier en in het buitenland als in de kunstpers . Het werk is ook door tal van enthousiaste bloggers op internet bekend gemaakt. Zoals in tal van verhalen met een volkse inslag , waar een genadeloze blik zich vermengt met een levendige verbeelding , zijn de schilderijtjes van Thomas Mazzarella schrandere en levenlustige taferelen.
De kunstenaar laat bij Rossicontemporary zijn nieuwe reeks schilderijen op hout zien.
